The Crown is a 16th Century inn which has held on to its charm, largely thanks being with the same owners for 20 years.  All of the modern conveniences have been added though!

All of their comfortable bedrooms are invitingly furnished in an elegant country house style.  All 25 en-suite rooms have full facilities with bath and shower and standard twin or double beds and surround the continental style courtyard and many overlook the stream and cricket pitch. 

The b&b Cotswold Crown of Crucis is found in a beautiful village setting in the South Cotswolds near to Cirencester.  For the History buffs among you this used to be know as Corinium in Roman times, so as you can imagine, there is plenty of history in the area.

To b&b in the Cotswolds is to experience the natural beauty of the area.  The area is famous for its honey coloured stone which has been used to make most of the building ins the area. 

There are many places to visit, the Crown of Crucis hotel is only a few minutes away from the Cotswolds water park, and you can easily reach places like Bourton on the Water, Stow on the Wold and Chipping Campden.

The hotel makes a great Cotswold b&b being situated a mere 15 minutes from the motorways, and yet is in a beautifully peaceful setting, where you can hear the Ampney Brook and perhaps some birdsong – and not much else.
